COURSE OVERVIEW
The MABC Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) Certification Program is a comprehensive beginner-to-intermediate training designed for individuals looking to enter the field of hair restoration and medical aesthetics. This program provides students with the essential theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on experience required to safely and effectively perform scalp micropigmentation treatments for clients experiencing hair loss, thinning hair, receding hairlines, and scalp scarring.
Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of scalp anatomy, pigment theory, treatment planning, hairline design, client consultations, safety protocols, contraindications, and machine operation. The course combines theoretical education with intensive practical training to ensure students develop both confidence and clinical competency in performing SMP procedures.
Training is conducted using professional scalp micropigmentation devices, pigments, and equipment commonly used in modern hair restoration clinics.

PART 1 — THEORY EDUCATION

PART 2 — IN-PERSON THEORY & HANDS-ON TRAINING
1 Full Day of Practical Clinical Education
Students will attend an intensive in-person training day at MABC’s clinical training facility where they will receive instructor-led theory review followed by extensive hands-on practical experience performing scalp micropigmentation treatments.
Participants will observe live demonstrations before performing treatments under the supervision of experienced trainers in a controlled clinical environment.
