COURSE OVERVIEW

The MABC Massage Therapy Certification Program is a comprehensive beginner-to-intermediate training designed for individuals seeking to develop foundational skills in professional massage therapy and bodywork techniques. This program provides students with the essential theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on experience required to safely and effectively perform a variety of therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments.

Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of body mechanics, client consultations, massage fundamentals, treatment planning, safety protocols, contraindications, and professional practice standards. Students will learn Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Hot Stone Massage techniques, along with methods to promote relaxation, reduce muscular tension, and enhance overall client wellness.

The course combines theoretical education with intensive practical training to ensure students develop both confidence and competency in performing professional massage treatments.

Training is conducted using professional massage therapy equipment, tools, and protocols commonly utilized in wellness clinics, spas, and therapeutic settings.

PART 2 — IN-PERSON THEORY & HANDS-ON TRAINING

Students will attend an intensive in-person training day at MABC’s clinical training facility where they will receive instructor-led theory review followed by extensive hands-on practical experience performing professional massage treatments.

Participants will observe live demonstrations before practicing massage techniques under the supervision of experienced trainers in a controlled clinical environment.
