COURSE OVERVIEW

The MABC Dermaplaning Certification Program is a comprehensive beginner-to-intermediate training designed for individuals looking to expand their expertise in advanced skincare and non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatments. This program provides students with the essential theoretical knowledge and practical hands-on experience required to safely and effectively perform professional dermaplaning procedures.

Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of skin anatomy, treatment indications, blade selection and handling, client consultations, contraindications, safety protocols, and treatment planning. Students will learn how dermaplaning can be used to improve skin texture, remove vellus hair (peach fuzz), enhance product penetration, and promote a smoother, brighter, and more youthful-looking complexion.

The course combines theoretical education with intensive practical training to ensure students develop both confidence and clinical competency in performing professional dermaplaning treatments.

Training is conducted using professional-grade dermaplaning tools and protocols commonly utilized in modern aesthetic clinics.

Students will attend an intensive in-person training day at MABC’s clinical training facility where they will receive instructor-led theory review followed by extensive hands-on practical experience performing dermaplaning treatments.

Participants will observe live demonstrations before performing treatments under the supervision of experienced trainers in a controlled clinical environment.
